With Jade, also now known as Lumpy (thanks Ken) busying
herself with all baby related matters we have been fairly snowed under
of late on Planet Jandowae.

I managed to receive a few samples of the new
trees we will be selling in the not too distant future. To tell
the truth some of these were supposed to make their way onto our
shelves but as soon as they arrived in the layout room it became
pretty obvious that there was no hope of them ever leaving again.

So with a few dozen more trees on the layout
I am proud to say that another section of the layout is starting
to take shape. This section is of the lower line between Holman
and the Hidden Staging Yard. In fact for a West bound train this
is the first point were it rears its head.

Whilst on a ride down to Brisbane
I finally managed to get hold of a packet of the Woodland Scenics
Tombstones. Whilst these cost an arm and a leg they have amazing
detail on them and I highly recommend using them. All that is left
now is to find some time and finish the church |

On a different note, due to technical issues
we have decided to temporatily suspend the sale of our two new
bogies. With any luck these issues will be sorted out within the
very near future. As always, we will announce as soon as the bogies
are again available.

Some of you may have noticed also that we are
no longer selling our mechanisms. This is due to the fact that
Hollywood Foundry has released ALL types of QR Diesel loco mechanisms.
Obviously this excludes the DL and Tri-Bo electric locos.

Hollywood Foundry has also had a fairly
dramatic price rise recently and due to this as well as the turn around
time of production we will be posting a link shortly in the catalogue
to enable ordering of mechanisms directly from Hollywood Foundry. We apologise
for any inconvenience this may cause. As I type this out, we are getting
ready to head down to the Ipswich show this weekend. We hope to see a
few of you there as always. With Lumpy doing her best duck impersonation
it should be good for the entertainment value as well.
Hopefully, I will have some more news for the layout very shortly as well
as some more info on when our trees will be available.
